Portal access discontinued

Due to the recent decisions by Google and Mozilla to drop support for Java plugins :

access to our systems through the Secure Global Desktop (“Portal”) has become restrictive and unreliable. We have decided to discontinue support for this mode of access and make ssh access the sole means to login to our systems.
This means we have phases out the SGD portal and as of July 1, 2017, it is no longer available. If the Secure Global Desktop was your access method and you need assistance with migrating to ssh access, please contact us by sending email to cac.help@queensu.ca

We are investigating possible replacements for the portal access.
