Steve is a software engineer focused on the support of biomedical research.  Prior to joining the CAC, he supported scientific endeavors for NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center and the Space Telescope Science Institute, working on the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes.  More recently, Steve has worked on the development of the precision medicine platform for Johns Hopkins Medicine and on building an FDA-approved cancer genomics diagnostic platform for Personal Genome Diagnostics, both in Baltimore, MD.  His background includes a wide array of domains, technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.  Steve has a B.S. in Computer Science from UMBC, a M.S. in Software Engineering from Loyola University Maryland, and an M.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University.
