Cryptography 101

 

In this course we will discuss cryptography, its relevance and importance in everyday computing. We will discuss the historical context as well as current applications of different forms of cryptography. We will cover symmetric encryption, asymmetric encryption as well as hashing. Lastly, we will put theory into practice and discuss how different cryptographic mechanisms are implemented in well known network protocols we use every day.
